DIN 525 Stud for Welding
Product overview
DIN 525 studs for welding consist of a threaded section and an unthreaded weld zone on a single shank. The weld-end geometry is designed for drawn-arc or capacitor-discharge stud welding onto flat or profiled base materials. Overall length (l) and thread length (b) are defined per size in the DIN 525 dimensional table; combinations outside standard nominal pairings are project-specific and not covered by catalog stock.
- Thread range: M3–M12 and above; length increments vary by size (M3–M6: 2 mm steps; M8–M10: 5 mm steps; M12+: 5–10 mm steps) - Reference length range: M3–M6 from 6–40 mm; M8–M10 from 10–80 mm; M12+ from 20–150 mm and beyond - Specify both overall length and thread length when ordering non-standard configurations
