150LB RF Flat Flange
Product overview
The 150LB RF Flat Flange is a raised face, slip-on or weld-neck style flat flange designed for low-to-medium pressure piping systems where a reliable, leak-free bolted connection is essential. Manufactured to ASME B16.5 and TS EN 1759-1 standards, this Class 150 raised face flange is widely specified in industrial pipework, process plant construction, and utility distribution networks. The raised face profile concentrates gasket seating stress over a smaller contact area, improving seal integrity across a broad range of service conditions and making it the preferred choice for engineers sourcing 150LB RF flanges for general-purpose installations.
Available in a full size range from 1/2" through 24" (DN15 to DN600), these flat flanges conform to ASME B16.5 Class 150 dimensional and pressure-temperature ratings, with a standard raised face finish that accepts spiral-wound, ring-type, or flat sheet gaskets. The Class 150 pressure rating supports working pressures up to approximately 19.6 bar (285 PSI) at ambient temperature, derated at elevated temperatures in accordance with ASME B16.5 pressure-temperature tables. Typical materials include carbon steel (ASTM A105), stainless steel (ASTM A182 F304/F316), and alloy grades, with flange faces supplied to a standard 125–250 AARH serrated finish to ensure positive gasket seating. Bolt hole patterns and face dimensions are fully interchangeable with ANSI/ASME Class 150 mating flanges and fittings.
